Run Bavn from your AI assistant
Connect Bavn to Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Cursor or VS Code, and do everything you can do in Bavn by asking: add and verify targets, start scans, read and triage findings, set up network agents.
Paste it into your assistant's connector settings. The first time, it sends you to Bavn to sign in and approve the connection — you need a Bavn account.
Things to ask
- “What are my most urgent security issues, and how do I fix them?”
- “Add shop.example.com to Bavn and help me verify it.”
- “Run a TLS scan on all my verified websites.”
- “Set up scanning for our office network.”
- “Write a one-page security summary for my manager.”
Most assistants also offer Bavn's ready-made prompts — onboard a target, triage findings, security review, scan an internal network — in their prompt or slash-command menu.
Connect your assistant
Claude — web, desktop and mobile
- Open Settings → Connectors and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Bavn and paste the server URL: https://bavnscan.com/mcp
- Choose Add, then Connect. Sign in to Bavn and approve the connection.
- In a chat, switch Bavn on from the tools menu and ask away.
On a Team or Enterprise plan an Owner adds the connector once under Admin settings → Connectors; each member then opens Settings → Connectors, finds Bavn and chooses Connect.
ChatGPT
- Open Settings → Apps & Connectors → Advanced settings and switch on Developer mode.
- Back in Apps & Connectors, choose Create. Name it Bavn, paste https://bavnscan.com/mcp as the MCP server URL and pick OAuth for authentication.
- Sign in to Bavn and approve the connection.
- In a chat, add Bavn from the + menu.
Needs a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu) on the web. On Business and Enterprise a workspace admin may have to allow developer mode first.
Microsoft Copilot (Copilot Studio)
- Open your agent and go to Tools → Add a tool → New tool → Model Context Protocol.
- Name it Bavn, paste https://bavnscan.com/mcp as the server URL, choose OAuth 2.0 and then Dynamic discovery.
- Choose Create, then Create a new connection, sign in to Bavn and approve. Add the tool to the agent.
The agent needs generative orchestration switched on to use MCP tools.
Gemini
Gemini CLI:
gemini mcp add --transport http bavn https://bavnscan.com/mcpThen run /mcp auth bavn inside Gemini CLI to sign in.
Gemini Enterprise's custom MCP connectors need a client ID and secret made by hand rather than signing in on their own; until Bavn offers those, use Gemini CLI.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http bavn https://bavnscan.com/mcpThen run /mcp in Claude Code, pick bavn and choose Authenticate.
Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients
Cursor — add to ~/.cursor/mcp.json:
{ "mcpServers": { "bavn": { "url": "https://bavnscan.com/mcp" } } }VS Code (GitHub Copilot agent mode) — add to .vscode/mcp.json, or run MCP: Add Server:
{ "servers": { "bavn": { "type": "http", "url": "https://bavnscan.com/mcp" } } }Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers with OAuth works: give it the URL and it finds the sign-in on its own.
What the assistant can and cannot do
Once you approve it, the assistant acts as you: it sees the organizations you are a member of and can do what you can in the Bavn panel. Bavn's own rules still apply — it can only scan targets you have verified as yours, and your email must be confirmed before anything is verified or scanned. It cannot see or change your password or sign-in settings. Your assistant asks before it changes anything, and you can disconnect it at any time under AI assistant in Bavn, where you also see when it was last used.
